Barcelona Nautic Center
Actualmente estoy trabajando en Barcelona Nautic Center llevando el travel lift, un EdenTechnology de 180 toneladas. Además tenemos un carro de varada de 80 toneladas que nos permite maximizar el espacio de varada.

My name is Mauro Novellas and my parents tell me that I was born in the winter of 86.
I live in a small sailboat, a Sirocco 31 (designed by the renowned sadly missing Angus S. Primrose ), which is older than me and in which I share a cabin with my beloved sailor Neu , a lovely kitten that I found lost and soaked one cold and rainy night in the middle of the mountain.
I have a paper signed by one who used to be a king, which states that I am the High Patron of the Merchant Navy. Thanks to this one (the paper, not the King; I don't have such good contacts) I have done almost everything that has to do with ships and floating things in general.
I have made incredible campaigns on board of oceanographic ships, and I have been afraid to see the breaking of the ropes worked in tugboats, I have deserted from rusty merchant ships with alcoholic crews and piloted others of more than 210 meters long. Diving clubs and jet ski instructor, parasailing and day charters with unknown clients who ended up being friends for life. Solar catamarans in high mountain lakes and mega yachts of the Catalan "nobility". I have played the role of captain in both solemn and heartfelt ashes throwing at sunset and stoically enduring old rockers' parties until dawn. I have pulled out 100kg tuna and refugees under 50kg from the water.

Experiencia
Marina Mercante
He hecho muchas campañas, casi todas con tripulación mixta y con pabellones extranjeros navegado especialmente en Ro-Ro, empezando como marinero de puente haciendo guardias y llevando el timón, acabando como Storekeeper.
Buques oceanográficos
Las experiencias más enriquecedoras han sido a bordo de oceanográficos como el B/O García del Cid, B/O Investigador o en Azti , en los que los tanto tripulación como los equipo de científicos se quedaron con trocitos de mi corazón.
Yates y charter
Desde lujosos yates con clientes que te hacen firmar contratos de confidencialidad, hasta fiestas en veleros en las que los mismos clientes te invitan a relajarte con ellos a tomar el sol fondeados en una cala perdida.
Remolcadores
Aprendí muchas cosas en mi etapa en los remolcadores, y estuve muy a gusto, pero las ansias de navegar ganaron a la estabilidad laboral y acabe soltando amarras hacia otros proyectos.
Otros
Capitanes en catamaranes eolicosolares en lagos de alta montaña hay pocos, y yo he tenido el placer de ser uno de ellos. Parasailing, monitor de motos de agua,… si existe, seguramente lo he hecho.
